DECEMBER 28: What’s worth fighting for?

2014: My marriage. We’re going to be ok, but we’re both feeling our age creeping up and our priorities and desires have changed so much on an individual basis that there is some conflict we must deal with as a couple. And we will.

      Thanks, Suz. Hubby and I will make it. One of my core desired feelings is feel open. Putting it out there that my marriage is not picture perfect felt a bit like being too open – but I wanted to be honest. My marriage is probably the most sacred thing to me – I’ve married the best person I know even if he does drive me crazy sometimes. I can’t imagine not sitting with him on our porch when we’re 80. That is what’s worth fighting for.
