I think sometimes things just fall in place. It’s been a hard summer. I got away from intentional movement and my food wasn’t so good and I was beating myself up. One day a few weeks ago, I had a random thought “What if my life didn’t revolve around my weight and food?” Of course, I didn’t explore that too much at the time. But it resonated.
Fast forward to last week and an email finding it’s way to my inbox. It was from Amy Ahlers (author of BIG FAT LIES WOMEN TELL THEMSELVES) introducing a 28 Day Challenge by Sarah Jenks: Live More Weigh Less
I clicked through the links and liked what I saw and immediately signed up. What did I see? Someone who decided to quit worrying about her weight and start living fully. And she lost weight. More importantly, I saw someone who wanted to help others – but not by telling them they need fixing. Just by encouraging to get up and live and be kind to yourself while you’re doing it.
