For many years, I got up early and journaled. The practice became a ritual and in many ways, I think the ritual helped pull me out of a deep depression.
As I became healthier, I moved away from the practice of journaling. Exercise, lots and lots and lots of exercise, helped keep me centered. Until the exercise became unbalanced. And now, I’m not exercising or journaling and I’m definitely not as centered as I’d to be.
So, I’m embracing journaling. It will be private, as it should be. But I will practice it as part of my journey towards balanced good health.
